Clean Air Champion Presentation

As an active member of Clean Air Champions (www.cleanairchampions.ca), I recently attended McBride elementary school in Vancouver to launch the childrens program of Clean Air Achievers. This program has the kids (normally done by classes) begin tracking their transportation methods from all destinations, normally for the course of 1-2 months. Clean Air Achievers (www.cleanairachievers.ca) is a functional website that allows the kids to enter each trip and and monitor their CO2 emissions reduction throughout the program.
My job as a professional cyclist is to introduce the kids to the topic of global warming and discuss an alternative shift in thinking towards transportation, household energy consumption and many other multifaceted solutions associated with climate change. My normal role is to open with a "grande" presentation and provide additional support throughout the duration of the program via e-mail. The wrap-up presentation involves awarding all achievers bronze, silver, gold or World Champion status based on their level of carbon emissions reduction.
"Hats off" to McBride school for being the first school I have managed to have ALL their participants achieve atleast bronze level awards.

If you have interest in having a Clean Air Champion attend a function please contact www.cleanairchampions.ca for more information. The level of presentation ranges. I have done both elementary and university level educational speeches and have just recently been in contact with BCs renowned yoga apparel company for mulitple presentations.

NOTE: The picture below is McBride elementary school and the Champions in "blue" champion shirts!!! Lucky participants got enter into the raffle to wear the Symmetrics Cycling Jersey.
